GET THE WHITE OFF YOUR HAIR

Grey Hair Can be a Warning Sign for Stroke!
The main cause of grey hair is a lack of the essential nutrients, especially vitamin A and B group vitamins, along with the minerals copper, iron and zinc. Copper in particular is not only necessary for hair pigmentation, it is needed by the body to maintain the health of the artery walls and without it you end up with what’s known as elastic fibre breakdown. When this occurs the arterial walls become weak, eventually causing an aneurism (the ballooning of an artery or blood vessel). This is a life threatening condition as it can burst, resulting in either severe stroke or death.
A good case in point is Albert Einstein. If you ever saw pictures of him in his later years you would instantly recognise his bright silver grey hair. Einstein died of a ruptured aneurism!
Instead of covering those gray strands with commercial and chemical-laden hair colors, try some natural home remedies. In addition, eat a healthy and nutritious diet. Deficiency of certain vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B, iron, copper, and iodine can contribute to this problem.

1. Curry Leaves
Curry leaves help increase darker pigmentation in your hair. When combined with coconut oil, it works as a great hair tonic.
Boil a handful of fresh curry leaves in a tablespoon of coconut oil until they become charred. Strain the oil.
Massage it into your hair. Leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes before rinsing it out.
Follow this treatment at least once or twice a week.
In addition, you can consume curry juice daily.
2. Onion Juice:
Onion Juice Mixed With Lemon Juice is a Powerful Grey Hair Natural Remedy: Onion juice is rich in the enzyme catalase and has been used for centuries as a topical treatment and home remedy for grey hair. In fact, herbalists have been advising their patients to rub onions on their scalps to cure grey hair long before any hair dyes were ever invented!

Back in 2009, Bradford University in the UK discovered that a build up of hydrogen peroxide in the hair follicles and scalp caused thinning and grey hair. They also discovered that the catalase enzyme neutralizes hydrogen peroxide and reverses grey hair.
So rubbing onions and onion juice mixed with lemon on your scalp everyday is a very potent natural remedy for grey hair (the only down side is of course the smell). Wheat grass and barley grass are also rich in catalase so mix up a paste and rub this onto your scalp everyday as well.

3. Guava Leaves:
Guava leaves are also good for turning grey hair black. Just grind some guava leaves and apply on your scalp on the regular basis.

4. Biotin:
Consume foodstuff rich in biotin as it slows down the progression of grey hair, naturally. Foods rich in biotin are egg yolks, tomatoes, yeast, soybeans, walnuts, carrots, cow’s milk, goat’s milk, cucumbers, oats, and almonds.
5. Ginger:
Grated ginger mixed with a tablespoon of honey must be taken on a daily basis for preventing hair from turning grey.
What Do I Avoid?

Avoid all processed foods and coffee as these leach valuable nutrients such as copper, iron and zinc from the body. Instead, substitute coffee for green tea (it’s no coincidence that you rarely see a Japanese person under the age of 60 with grey hair and they also happen to be the biggest consumers of green tea in the world) along with eating plenty of organic fruits, vegetables and herbs such as garlic if possible.
Finally, avoid smoking and stress. Not only are these two of the biggest killers in the world today, they actually contribute to grey hair more than anything else!
